Eslamabad (Persian: اسلام ابا)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Eslamabad District of Parsabad County, Ardabil province, Iran.[3]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, Eslamabad's population was 3,069 in 629 households, when it was a village in Qeshlaq-e Shomali Rural District[b] of the Central District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,349 people in 869 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population as 3,068 people in 829 households,[2] by which time villages had been separated from the rural district in the establishment of Eslamabad District. Eslamabad was transferred to the new Eslamabad Rural District of the district and was elevated to the status of a city.[3]
